Nineteen workflows
How people actually use Bonfiyah.
Each one is a specific kind of conversation, with a specific consent posture, and a specific reason the recording matters later.
Click any card for the full workflow — what to record, how to set up consent, which Pro AI features carry the most weight for that situation, and the recipe other users have settled on.

In one breath
Nineteen workflows, five categories, one product.
The Pro AI feature stack is the same across all five categories. Promise Tracker, Truth Layer, Pre-Brief handle the cross-recording memory. Speaker Insights, Speaker Themes, Story Mode handle the per-person and narrative views. Team Dynamics, MBTI Compatibility, Pointillist Painting, Compatibility Analysis handle the team and pair shapes. The use cases below are recipes — what to record, what to look at, how to set up consent — for the situations where each combination earns its weight.
Professional services
Where the income depends on what was actually agreed.
Client meetings
Consultants, freelancers, attorneys — anyone whose contract scope shifts every meeting. Promise Tracker prevents scope creep; Project Context briefs you per-engagement.
Read the workflow →Attorney practice
Client intake with consent logs. Witness prep with Truth Layer flagging cross-session inconsistencies. Defensible PDF exports with chain-of-custody hashes.
Read the workflow →Coaching sessions
Executive, life, sports, recovery. Per-client Speaker Insights for coaches. Action Items for clients to track session homework. Compatibility (with consent) for paired-client work.
Read the workflow →Couples therapy + mediation
For licensed therapists and certified mediators. Compatibility Analysis (consent-gated by code), Speaker Themes per partner over time, Story Mode session recap. Built for the practitioner, not as a substitute for them.
Read the workflow →Sales + customer
The deals and the relationships that compound across many conversations.
Sales calls
Field sales, on-site demos, in-person executive sponsor meetings. Promise Tracker on every commitment, Truth Layer on shifting requirements, Pre-Brief on the next call. The in-person + on-iPhone supplement to a Gong/Chorus seat.
Read the workflow →Customer Success
Renewals, QBRs, escalation calls, churn-risk reviews. Promise Tracker surfaces every commitment your customer made (and every commitment you made to them). Truth Layer catches when this quarter's blockers contradict last quarter's. Pre-Brief every save call with the last six conversations summarised.
Read the workflow →Fundraising / investor pitches
Twenty-five first meetings, eight follow-ups, three partner meetings. Pre-Brief per VC. Truth Layer flags shifting valuation talk across meetings. Promise Tracker captures every 'I'll make the intro' commitment.
Read the workflow →Work meetings
The recurring conversations that decide whether projects ship.
Internal meetings
Standups, 1:1s, retros, decision reviews. Action Items extracted automatically. Pre-Brief before every recurring meeting. Team Dynamics across the people you record with most.
Read the workflow →Board meetings + governance
Defensible recording with consent, decisions tracked verbatim, pre-meeting briefs for every director. Pointillist Painting on the board itself surfaces composition gaps before the next director search.
Read the workflow →Coffee shop meetings
Networking, mentor coffees, informal pitches. Sit your phone face-up; AirPods handle the noisy-room audio. Live speaker reassignment names participants from your contacts as they speak.
Read the workflow →Interviews
Journalism source vetting, qualitative research transcription, structured hiring loops. Truth Layer catches cross-interview inconsistencies. Live reassignment names sources from minute one.
Read the workflow →Parent–teacher conferences
Capture the exact words the teacher used. Action Items for what to do at home. Defensible record for IEP and 504 meetings, with consent.
Read the workflow →Hiring + people decisions
Where the team-shape lens changes who gets hired, promoted, and developed.
Hiring panels
Calibrate the panel itself before the candidate walks in. Score candidates against the team they'll join using Team Dynamics + MBTI Compatibility + Ray Dalio Pointillist Painting. Hire for the team's actual gaps, not the role description.
Read the workflow →Performance reviews + 360s
Twenty-six 1:1s, three skip-levels, a year of joint project meetings become a structured year-end profile per IC. Speaker Themes surfaces patterns. Project Context drafts the synthesis. Anchored in source quotes, not paraphrase.
Read the workflow →Personal + family
The conversations that disappear by morning if you don't catch them.
Bonfire events
Family reunions, friend trips, late-night fireside conversations. The stories worth keeping happen at the fire and disappear by morning. Story Mode renders them as narrative recaps.
Read the workflow →Dinner conversations
Family meals where someone tells a story you've never heard. Business dinners where the deal actually gets discussed over the second glass. Two-party consent baked in.
Read the workflow →Doctor's appointments
You as the patient, recording your own visit so you (or a parent or partner) can carry the full thread across multiple appointments — ER, audiology, primary-care follow-up — without losing a single dose, referral, or instruction. Mark the story Doctor-Patient Privileged with one tap. Bonfiyah is not a medical record system and is not HIPAA-aligned; it's your personal aide for your own visit.
Read the workflow →Students + lectures
Listen with full attention. Bonfiyah captures the lecture, separates the professor from students, produces a study-note view. Auto-translation across 30+ languages for international students.
Read the workflow →Dating analysts
Dating coaches reviewing client work. Self-aware daters reviewing their own conversations. Speaker Themes surfaces the patterns you don't notice. Compatibility Analysis runs only with explicit two-party consent.
Read the workflow →If your use case isn't listed here.
The nineteen above are the ones we've seen real users settle into across five categories — professional services, sales + customer, work meetings, hiring + people decisions, and personal + family. Anything that's a multi-person conversation, recorded with consent, where you'll want to find specific moments later — Bonfiyah handles it.
What Bonfiyah is not for: surveilling people who didn't agree to be recorded, capturing audio for legal-evidence-grade chain-of-custody outside of jurisdictions that recognise app-recorded media, or any workflow where the consent posture is shaky. The consent gate is structural, not advisory — features like Compatibility Analysis refuse to run without it.
If you're using Bonfiyah for something in a category we haven't documented, tell us about it. We add new workflows when patterns surface.
