Comparison
Bonfiyah vs Krisp.
Krisp is a noise-cancellation and meeting-AI layer that sits between you and your microphone. Bonfiyah is an Apple-only conversation memory app (iPhone, iPad & Mac). Both touch microphones; that's roughly where the resemblance ends.
The short version
Krisp's primary product is noise cancellation — 40+ dB reduction on live calls. The 2026 differentiator is bidirectional Listener-Side Accent Conversion (launched March 2026 for Mac and Windows): the listener hears the speaker more clearly, in real time. The transcription and meeting-AI features grew out of having the audio stream already.
Bonfiyah's primary product is the memory layer across recorded conversations — Promise Tracker, Truth Layer, Pre-Brief, Project Context, Compatibility, Team Dynamics, plus structured three-status consent (Granted · Unknown · Internal Use Only) with per-speaker and per-story Attorney-Client OR Doctor-Patient Privilege markings. The recording and transcription are the substrate; the cross-recording reasoning is what you pay for.
If your problem is "people can't hear me on Zoom because of background noise" — install Krisp. We are not the better tool for that. Their voice AI infrastructure is the real product.
If your problem is "I don't remember what was discussed in last quarter's six client meetings, and I need attorney-client privilege markings on the legal ones" — install Bonfiyah. Krisp can transcribe a call but doesn't reason across recordings or ship privilege markings.

The honest version
Krisp is one of the best noise-cancellation products in software. The audio cleanup on a live Zoom or Teams call is genuinely impressive — barking dogs, café espresso machines, mechanical keyboards, all gone. If you spend your day in noisy environments and people on the other side of calls keep telling you they can't hear you, Krisp is the right purchase.
Krisp's transcription and meeting-AI features grew out of "well, we already have access to the audio stream, so we may as well." They are competent, not category-leading. The cross-recording reasoning that Bonfiyah's Pro AI is built around — Promise Tracker watching commitments across meetings, Project Context briefing six recordings into one, Truth Layer flagging contradictions weeks apart — Krisp does not have analogues for any of these.
Both products can run on the same Mac without conflict. If you want crystal-clear audio on calls and a memory layer over recorded conversations, install both. They are doing different jobs in the same room.
